Playboy Founder Hugh Hefner Passes Away At 91

The man who found the way to sell sex better than any other, Hugh Hefner, The founder of Playboy, has died at the age of 91. He passed away at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles’ Holmby Hills neighborhood. The same place where he hosted all sorts of parties with Hollywood celebrities, and recently sold, but made the agreement he could live there until he passed away, sadly that day is today.

“Hugh M. Hefner, the American icon who in 1953 introduced the world to Playboy magazine and built the company into one of the most recognizable American global brands in history, peacefully passed away today from natural causes at his home, The Playboy Mansion, surrounded by loved ones,” Playboy confirmed in a statement to E! News. “He was 91 years old.”

R.I.P. Hef!
