Tropical Storm Katia Forms In The Gulf Of Mexico Said Not To Affect Texas

Hurricane Irma is bearing down on Puerto Rico and Cuba, Tropical Storm Jose is forming in the Eastern Atlantic and now Tropical Storm Katia has formed in the Gulf of Mexico. She is south of Texas and in the pit of Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula and the Gulf Coast.

The Houston Chronicle has reported that it will eventually move into Eastern Mexico and not affect Texas.

Currently, our thoughts and prayers are being sent to those in the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Florida and anyone else in the path of these storms.
