Time for our “CAN I GET AN AMEN” story of the day! At “THE MORNING BULL” we believe in the power of positivity. We believe there are more good people than bad in the world, and we believe that goodness should be celebrated when you find it!
Kingwood Park High School Graduation was this past Saturday, but Kingwood Park senior Clinton Vest graduated for the first time, 2 weeks ago. Now, I know most seniors don’t get two graduations, but the Vest family’s heart was breaking.
Clinton’s grandma was in hospice and dying from a rare form of cancer, so they called Assistant Principal Mark Ruffin who said “…the gravity of the situation…I told them I could get the diploma and other stuff together and be there within the hour.”
Clinton’s family was worried about grandmother making it even another day – so within the hour that showed up at grandma’s and did Clinton’s graduation right there for her.
It was something to see (WATCH VIDEO ABOVE) and Clinton said it was one of the best things ever, “I had the biggest smile on my face. It was amazing,” Vest said. “She saw me in the cap and gown, and she was staring at us, and she knew what was happening. That was the best part. She knew what was going on.”
