Humble, Texas Named 12th Most Dangerous City In The US

The land of the silent ‘H’ has been named the 12th most dangerous city in the United States according to SafeWise.com.  The data they used dealt with violent crimes and property crimes which were:

Violent Crimes per 1,000: 9.53
Property Crimes per 1,000: 107.54

Breaking this down means that nearly 10 people per 1,000 in Humble are victim of violent crimes and nearly 108 of every 1,000 have been victim of property crimes.

I don’t live in Humble but we would need some folks from Humble to speak up if they think this is true. If so, that’s a little disturbing and one can only wonder what the cause of this would be. Is it lack of police? Drug use?

Either way, I love playing golf in Humble and I love going to the Humble rodeo so I won’t be avoiding the area.

  1. I do not agree with this article. I do not believe Humble has any more crime than any other city. My family moved to Atascocita/Humble area when I was in the 4th grade and I graduated from Humble High School. During this time I never experienced any problems. However, I noticed the police patrolled more in Humble than Atascocita. Overall, I believe their is more racial profiling as my brothers were often pulled over and questioned why they were in Humble.
