In my opinion, the Houston Rockets had this series in their hands, and absolutely blew every opportunity and was capped off with a terrible effort on their homecourt. I am a harsh sports critic it is in my blood, so let me just rattle these things off my chest so I feel better. Basically, the written version of SCREAMING at the top of you lungs to just get the anger out.
You took game 1 in San Antonio and stole home court and didn’t capitalize.
Tony Parker, even if he is 73 years old, got knocked out of game 2 and didn’t return in the series.
Game 5, I could go on and on here but basically, the final 8 minutes of this game may have been the worst playoff basketball I have ever seen, horrendous shot selection, James Harden 0-4 in OT with 3 turnovers, and the Spurs didn’t have Kawhi Leonard in that overtime at all.
Piggybacking off the last one, Kawhi Leonard not playing game 6, on your home court, win or go home, and not even close.
The effort of that final game, there was no fight or pride, as soon as San Antonio opened a lead, the Rockets folded up.
