(Photo) Nordstrom Offers Jeans With The “Muddy Dirty” Look For $425

You know, growing up I’d see people come in to my mom’s convenient store after a long day of working the land and they’d be covered from head to toe in dirt and grit. Boots with caked on mud, jeans so dirty you didn’t know what color they were originally and a shirt so dirty it looked like they’d literally rolled around in a mud puddle.

Now, Nordstrom is offering that look for about the price one would pay a month for a low budget vehicle. For $425 bucks Nordstrom is offering the “Fake Muddy Jeans” that they’re referring to as, Barracuda Straight Leg Jeans” that “shows you’re not afraid to get down and dirty.”

But wait a minute, if it’s not REAL mud and REAL dirt then you ARE afraid to get down and dirty. I mean, what on God’s green Earth are these jean designers thinking?

As far as the guy in this picture goes, his shoes tell the whole story. And wouldn’t these kind of dirty jeans in a nice restaurant get you kicked out? I mean, who wants to look like they just rolled in the mud when they’re going somewhere for dinner or to work!?

Unreal. I can’t believe this is what our society has come to. Instead of working hard we’d rather LOOK like we work hard. Ridiculous. I’d be willing to bet money there are a couple farmers or ranchers or construction workers who will sell you their dirty jeans for less than $425.
