Time for our “CAN I GET AN AMEN” story of the day! At “THE MORNING BULL” we believe in the power of positivity. We believe there are more good people than bad in the world, and we believe that goodness should be celebrated when you find it!
Customer Service…it’s something that’s on our minds lately. After all the airline debacles, whatever happened to the customer is always right? Well, a customer a Connecticut restaurant was thinking the same thing, he was being escorted to his table and he kept asking the waitress/hostess different questions…maybe they could sit away from the kitchen, perhaps they could get a window view but the server wasn’t even paying attention to his questions.
So when he finally tapped the waitress, Keri Marie Carlson, on the shoulder, Carlson told the man that one of her hearing aids was broken and she had trouble hearing over all the noise. So when she seated him, he’d finished his lunch and gotten his bill, the man decided to give her $500 to buy a new hearing aid.
Keri said she was completely shocked – “I didn’t say I needed the money or anything. He just came in the back and said ‘I’m not gonna take no for an answer and I can’t let you go home like this.’ And I tried to give him the money back, but he was like, no, you deserve this,”
And the customer’s generosity has motivated the restaurant owner to start a fundraiser for the American Society for Deaf Children.
