CAN I GET AN AMEN: [Local] Pasadena Police Officer’s Kindness Going Viral Today

Time for our “CAN I GET AN AMEN” story of the day!  At “THE MORNING BULL” we believe in the power of positivity.  We believe there are more good people than bad in the world, and we believe that goodness should be celebrated when you find it!

On The Morning Bull – we love our first responders.  And I can’t imagine what it is like for our local police who leave the safety of their homes every day not knowing what their day may hold for them.  Car chases, robberies, confrontations – and baby formula.  The world this morning is giving some love to our local PASADENA POLICE Officer Tuzun for going above and beyond her call of duty.

The Pasadena Police Department jumped on Instagram yesterday to share a heartwarming story about Officer Tuzun, who was out on a call with her partner working a traffic stop and in the back of the vehicle was an infant, a tiny, crying, scared infant.  The baby boy’s sister was trying to comfort him when the sister asked Officer Tuzun if she could help.  So without hesitation, the officer took the baby out of its car seat, cradled it her arms and started feeding it.

We have many different tasks we perform as officers every day, some more unique than others, but it is our duty to rise to whatever challenge the shift might bring. Officer Tuzun was assisting another officer on a call when she noticed an infant crying in the back seat. The infant's sister was trying to take care of her and asked Officer Tuzun to help. Without hesitation, Tuzun took the child in her arms and began to feed him, calming the infant down until he was reunited with his mother. There are times when our role is just to be ourselves and let our compassion for others and commitment to our citizens shine through. This was certainly one of those times. #pasadenapd #pasadenatx #police #policetx #service #compassion #community
