Time for our “CAN I GET AN AMEN” story of the day! At “THE MORNING BULL” we believe in the power of positivity. We believe there are more good people than bad in the world, and we believe that goodness should be celebrated when you find it!
Most of us were traveling this past weekend, just like this family that was driving through Texarkana, Arkansas. It was late. It was dark. And while changing lanes, an 18 wheeler truck cut the change short and clipped this family’s car. The impact caused the family’s car to spin and flip. Emergency responders got there – four people were transported to the hospital, but the mom and dad in the car kept asking “where is our baby”, but first responders said that everyone was out of the car and they’d found no baby. But the parents wouldn’t leave the scene insisting that their 8-month-old was in the wreckage. Police searched again, no baby in the wrecked car. A good Samaritan started looking around and heard some noises coming from a drainage ditch 25 feet away from the scene. They searched but couldn’t find the locate the source until they uncovered a drain, and there between the bars of the drain cover they found the 8-month-old baby – safe and sound – sitting up and waiting for someone to pick it up.
Officers said they believe that during the causing the car to flip and the baby girl to be ejected. Officials believe that she landed in the soft hay along the highway’s median and rolled down a hill into the drain. The folks on the scene were overcome with emotion.
