We all love Luke Bryan here on the show and we can all agree that he’s probably the NICEST dude outta Nashville! It’s never been a secret that hardly anyone that has a hit on country radio… well… odds are, they didn’t write it. The way my Papaw explained it to me when I got old enough to get upset that George Straight didn’t write Amarillo by Morning was… “Some people can write and some people can sing… you can’t do either” haha Pawpaw was always funny… and RIGHT!!

Not that Luke cant write… he’s written a couple hits that you might know… we will get to that in a few days!

Here in Texas, we love our country music and we generally like to get our product directly from the manufacturer… know what I mean? Listening to our boys like Kevin Fowler, Roger Creager, Randy Rogers and so many more… we have gotten accustom to hearing songs from the story tellers that lived it… so… I thought I’d shed some light on a lot of the songs that you hear on the Bull!

I’m guessing by now, if you’re a Luke fan… you’ve heard “Play it again”…

well I did some diggin and found the dude who wrote it… turns out… he’s the same dude that wrote Luke’s hit “That’s my kind of night”

His name is Dallas Davidson and hes AWESOME!! I am now a fan… I’ll post both songs just so ya can hear for yourself!! Now ya know:)
