Dear Diary,

I took Javier to the vet yesterday to get his stitches out. Dr. Flores said everything looked good and gave us the thumbs up on his health:)

I rushed home after that so I could take Jeff to the airport. He flew to Dallas for a Dale Carnegie workshop.

As soon as he landed he was describing the sights.

Neither of us have been to Dallas, so he was giving me the low-down.

He said the Galleria was a lot like Houston’s Galleria. I will have to check it out myself when I drive up to meet him tomorrow. We are spending the weekend together.

I am looking forward to a pet-free weekend. I love them, but 4 furry babies by yourself can be a lot.

Last night I made Hamburger Helper. It is a tradition when I am on my own. Jeff is not a fan so I have to take advantage when I can.

I pulled out his PJ bottoms, threw on a sweatshirt and tuned in Netflix to watch the ‘Walking Dead.’ Does it get any better than that? I think not. Cheeseburger Macaroni, yo.

Talk to you tomorrow,
