Talk about dedication!
Last month, Jake Owen had a pretty nasty go-karting accident and ended up having surgery on his hand. A scary proposition for someone who plays guitar for a living.
On Monday, however, Jake had to have another surgery and ended up having part of his finger amputated.
Awful enough, but the surgery took place not long before Jake was set to perform a free concert in Nashville to celebrate his 4th consecutive no. 1 song “Anywhere with You.”
Rather than disappoint his fans who were there for the show, Jake had some pain killers put on his finger and he performed anyway, playing the guitar and everything.
Jake was joined by The Cadillac Three, Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, and Dierks Bentley. They put on quite a summer concert for Nashville!
