If you are looking for Carrie Underwood to have a “baby bump”, then you will have to wait. The country music diva told media outlets that she does not feel old enough to enter into the realms of motherhood.
In the June issue of Marie Claire Magazine,Underwood stated that she does not feel ready to be a mom: “I don’t feel old enough to have kids,” she says. “I know I am mature. But being responsible for another human?”
Thirty-year-old Underwood, says that her siblings are up there in age, compared to her and she also admits to having that “only-child syndrome”.
With that “syndrome” she admits that her world is all about her: “I’m a little more selfish, a little more independent, a little closed,” she explains. “I do wish I were softer. I wish I were able to form relationships better. But hey, I mean…I’m not a sociopath,” Underwood told the magazine.
Underwood was recently named the face and voice behind Sunday Night Football and is the singer behind such hits as “Two Black Cadillacs” and “Blown Away”.
