Dear Diary,

The Armed Forces Appreciation Day was so amazing at the Rodeo yesterday. Everyone was so friendly and great. I am so glad they asked us to be a part of it. It was quite an experience.

After that, I ran errands. I needed to get some groceries in the house for the weekend. I like to have some staples when we have house-guests…snacks, bagels, coffee, and of course, wine. I popped in to one of my favorite stores to pick up their olive tapenade dip. Leibman’s is on Memorial Drive off of 10. It has an amazing wine selection and homemade deliciousness at the deli.

I was getting ready to leave and I looked behind me before pulling out of my parking spot. There was no one there. I started to back out, and I felt my whole car shift. This black Mercedes came speeding into the parking lot and clipped my back end. I was so mad. She had no damage, but I had black paint transfer on my fender and bumper.

She admitted she saw me backing out. But instead of stopping, she sped up. Well, that was the wrong choice. We exchanged insurance, but I don’t think it matters. There were no witnesses, we didn’t call the cops…and I have a feeling this would be a she said, she said. I am just going to take my baby to Clear Lake Fiat today to see what they say. Hopefully, they can just buff it out.
