I knew this was going to happen: Not only did Blake Shelton apologize to Ray Price for talking smack about old school country, he also showed up at Price’s concert last Thursday with Miranda Lambert and sealed the apology.
Shelton took another step in his “Ray Price apology campaign”. Lambert posted a pic of Blake and Ray and wrote, “Country music binds us together! We are a family. Forever and always. Tonight was a celebration of friends and heroes.”
It’s almost like they had to . . . Ray’s show was in Durant, Oklahoma, which is about an hour from Shelton and Lambert’s home in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
Anyway, they hung out in Price’s trailer, and posed for photos. Lambert also added: “Country music binds us together! We are a family. Forever and always. Tonight was a celebration of friends and heroes,” in a statement to media outlets.
Shelton and Lambert also took in the show and then Price pulled Shelton onto the stage to say nice things . . . like calling him his “good friend”.
