This spring, a trip to New Orleans will be in order to see some of the most iconic, classic and riveting names and bands in entertainment.

This year’s New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival will assemble some of the biggest names in music and the lineup is one that features great performers from every genre of the musical spectrum.

Some of the acts scheduled to perform include: Fleetwood Mac, Billy Joel, Maroon 5, Black Keys, John Mayer, Frank Ocean, B.B. King, Jill Scott, The Dave Matthews Band, Band of Horses and Earth Wind & Fire. For a full list of this year’s performers, check out the Jazz Fest’s website!

From blues, to country, to R&B to pop music, many are expected to enjoy the eclectic blend of artists scheduled to sing.

According to the official Jazz Fest website, “The Festival celebrates the indigenous music and culture of New Orleans and Louisiana, so the music encompasses every style associated with the city and the state: blues, R&B, gospel music, Cajun music, zydeco, Afro-Caribbean, folk music, Latin, rock, rap music, country music, bluegrass and everything in between. And of course there is lots of jazz, both contemporary and traditional.”

Jazz Fest is currently held during the day, between the hours of 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. at the Fair Grounds Race Course in New Orleans.

The festival also features a plethora of food, vendors selling items and goods as well as specialty-themed areas and activities.

This year’s Jazz Fest will take place April 26th to May 5th at New Orleans’ Fair Grounds Race Course. Tickets will be available for $45 through January 29th. After that, they will then be priced at $50. Tickets at the gate will be $65. VIP packages and children’s tickets are also available.
