If you are a fan of heavy music in Texas or just guitar in general, then chances are that you have probably heard of Marzi Montazeri. He is a MONSTER on the guitar and has been enlisted and trusted as the guitarist for Ex Pantera and current DOWN vocalist Phil Anselmo’s debut solo project. He is also a Houston native!

Well, It’s no secret that I’m a country boy on a country radio station that digs the heavier side of music as well! My iPod goes from Willie and Waylon to Pantera and Stevie Ray and George Strait and Van Halen… you get the idea! I have had the pleasure of hangin’ with this Montazeri quite a bit and on one occasion… This happened! Check out the audio below:
