Fresh off making his Heisman Trophy acceptance speech, young football star Johnny Manziel made an appearance on a different stage in Houston.
The Texas A&M redshirt freshman quarterback – college football’s newest big star, nicknamed “Johnny Football” – made a grand entrance onto the stage of the KILT Ten Man Jam in Houston with some of his buddies on the Texas country music circuit, as well as legendary singer Alison Krauss.
Kevin Fowler - a favorite among country music fans – introduced Johnny to the crowd as the 20-year old faced the screaming audience. He joined Fowler, Dierks Bentley and Roger Creager to sing Fowler’s song “Beer, Bait and Ammo.”
Just as country music fans were awestruck by the performers, so were the country singers awestruck by Manziel.

And it turns out that Manziel wasn’t the only sports hero at the KILT Ten Man Jam last night. Baseball star Roger Clemens was also on hand.
