“Nashville” star Hayden Panettiere and current professional football free agent Scotty McKnight have reportedly split up.

Reports indicate that the two have been broken up for approximately two weeks, but reports of their de-fragmented relationship are just now surfacing. Despite the split, it is also being reported that the two remain friends.

Panettiere, who currently stars in the musical drama television series “Nashville” as “Juliette Barnes” has also starred in Remember the Titans opposite Denzel Washington.

McKnight who is an American football wide receiver, is currently a free agent and a former draft pick by the New York Jets. Friends close to the couple say that they are not ruling out a reunion in the future as the two remain close confidants.
