Dear Diary,

After the show today, I am hosting Dustin Lynch in the Muve Music Lounge. I have never felt very confident in interviewing skills and I don’t have Greg or Dave as buffer today. I am hoping it goes smoothly, and he seems like a really cool, friendly guy. Sometimes, though, when I do stuff like this people I work with refer to it as, “killing the room.”

After that, I am headed home to let the dogs out and then it is extension time. I haven’t felt like myself for a year. It may be no big deal, but I find joy in the little things.

I am also excited for tomorrow night. We are going to a friend’s house to watch the Kemah Boat Parade. We went last year and one difference is how cold it was. It was freezing out last year. We will not have that problem this year.

On the less fun side, we are planning on staining the deck tomorrow. It needs to be done and we have been putting it off. Guh, anybody have a pressure-washer?
