What do you get when you combine one pop music diva with a hip hop group, a television host, children and toy instruments? The answer is a Christmas song that hits the right notes of holiday fun and festiveness!
Singer Mariah Carey joined Jimmy Fallon as well as The Roots for a rendition of a Christmas classic that will be remembered for years to come. The songstress was accompanied by classroom toy instruments as she sung the holiday classic, “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”
Careys’ voice proved to be a great addition to the kazoo, Fisher Price xylophone, tambourine, bass drum and wooden block that were all played. Children also added to the vibrancy of the moment with their vocals.
The song which debut in 1994, has risen to “classic Christmas songs” status and has also proven enduring being covered by not only Carey but Michael Buble and Justin Bieber, only to name a few.
