Corey's Diary

From Foley And Thunder

Dear Diary,

I have been working out for the last 5 days, I want to feel guilt-free about what happens tomorrow. I had a great run at Memorial Park yesterday. I ran 3 miles and didn’t even have to stop and breathe. My asthma can be somewhat of a pain. However, yesterday was smooth.

I am also going back to my weights. I have been sore for the last 5 days. It is a good sore, though. I feel like I am accomplishing something…that, and I am hugely out of shape.

We are heading to the Woodlands tomorrow for dinner. Jeff will be making his potatoes in the morning before we go. He is in charge of both mashed and sweet. Those are two of my favorite dishes and he knows how to doctor them up just right. I am in charge of the brie. And the beauty of that responsibility is that the baked brie is pre-made at Whole Foods.

Dana’s husband, John, is making a special turkey. He is using his outdoor roaster and I can’t wait to dive right in.

I am hoping we have nice weather. We can burn off some turkey calories with a hearty round of corn-hole.

Happy Thanksgiving!
