Jason Aldean and his wife Jessica were on yesterday’s “CBS This Morning”.

Aldean made his first public appearance with his wife on the morning show since getting caught “messing around” with former “American Idol” contestant Brittney Kerr.

The show started with a taped piece about Jason’s “amazing rise” to the top . . . they touched on his yearly “Concert for the Cure” . . . and then asked about the marriage. Aldean fielded that one. He said: “I think we’re fine.”

“Anytime you go through something like that it’s tough. We’ve been together a long time . . . and have been through a lot of things together. Those are things most people get to deal with in private. We didn’t have the luxury of doing that,” Aldean told CBS.

“I would say go ask any couple that’s been married 30, 40, 50 years. I guarantee-” That’s when Jessica jumped in and said, “I would love to hear their story.” Aldean ended the interview saying:”It hasn’t always been roses.”
