Dear Diary,

I woke up feeling quite fuzzy this morning. I think I have caught Jeff’s cold. I figured it was only a matter of time. I hope it isn’t too bad. I am really excited about the Renaissance Festival and don’t want to be sniffling the whole time.

The vet called me yesterday about Javier. She thinks he has stress colitis from being kenneled. This has never happened before. However, we kenneled the dogs two months in a row and I think it took its toll. Javier is usually the rock. He has never had any major health problems. But I don’t think it helped that Jeff didn’t come home with me. Jeff and Javi are the dynamic duo.

I could tell Javi was feeling a little better. He slept a lot yesterday. The doc sent me home with some antibiotics and special food for the GI tract.

I also talked to my friend, Marla the pet psychic. She is so amazing and recommended aloe vera juice. This will help soothe his tummy along with the medicine.

I am just relieved it is not something more serious. I hate seeing him stressed an uncomfortable, but I am not ready for the other “c” word.
