Dear Diary,

Jeff and I met up at the house on Friday. We grabbed our luggage and the dogs and hit the road. First stop was Cypress Hills Pet Resort. The dogs would be spending the 3-day weekend there. We went to the airport after that and it was Vegas, baby.

We stayed at the Aria, which is where Jeff’s work conference was being held. Jeff was feeling a little under the weather, so we had a subdued night. We grabbed dinner at the Italian restaurant, played a few slots, then hit the hay. The 2-hour time difference kind of threw us off.

Saturday, we put on our good walking shoes and hit the strip. We were gonna grab breakfast at Hash House A Go Go, but the wait was 2 hours. We headed across the street and grabbed a slice of pizza at Caesar’s. We did some window shopping then went over to Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino. That is where I got my nose pierced again. Let’s hope this time it heals better. I did the other side to start fresh.

Jeff’s cold took a turn for the worse, so we stayed in Saturday night & ordered room service. Not very Vegas-y, but he was feeling really bad. Sunday night, we had dinner in the Eiffel Tower restaurant. Not only was the food amazing, but the view was to die for. We had a perfect seat for the Venetian water fountain show.

Then it was back home:( I hate traveling alone, but Jeff had to stay for the conference. I miss him already.
