Luke Bryan is “praying” that Jason Aldean and his wife will get through their tough times following Aldean’s public humiliation with Brittany Kerr. Bryan would also appreciate it if the media would not call He and Kerr’s encounter an affair.

Bryan is pretty tight with Aldean. In fact, they’ve toured together and both are from Georgia so it’s only fitting and proper that he offer his take on Aldean getting caught with Kerr, a former NBA cheerleader back in September.

Bryan offered positivity about Aldean’s encounter with Kerr: “Me and my wife’s stance on that is we just pray for Jason and his wife and family to get through it”, he said.  “I think Jason handled it the best way he could, apologizing and I think it was pretty clear that it was an alcohol-related situation much more than any other type of situation.”

Bryan then blamed media outlets for their coverage of the encounter: “It’s a little unfortunate when the media turns it into . . . when they tweak headlines and all that stuff, you know, calling it affairs, that’s bizarre to me.”

Jason Aldean is a scheduled performer at Rodeo Houston on March 11, 2012 and Luke Bryan is slated to return to the rodeo on March 16.
