Flash mobs are popping up everywhere. I’m still trying to figure out this new phenomenon. However, the videos are going viral and some are making headlines on national news. One of those making headlines took place right here in Houston.

A young man in love, Archit, pulled out all the stops for his proposal to his girlfriend Amy. A choreographed flash mob routine broke out at the Edwards movie theater in Greenway Plaza here in Houston on August 11, 2012.

It was complete with friends and surprise appearances from Archit’s family that flew in from Atlanta and Dallas, as well as Any’s mother who flew in from Hawaii for the event.

Recently, the video was featured on Good Morning America. If you haven’t seen it yet here’s your chance to see that romance is still alive.
