The 7th annual Rowdy Day Festival is coming up this Saturday in Hitchcock Tx. at the Galveston County Fair Grounds.  This event, which started with just a few friends getting together for some beer, fun, and music has grown over the years into one of the most exciting local music festivals around.  This year is bigger and better than ever with food provided by the Ace In The Hole Cookers, and lots of other vendors to check out.  Fun for the whole family, and great musical performances from Hunter McKithen, David Grace, and Kyle Park.

Steve Rixx had the chance to talk to Kyle Park about his first performance at Rowdy Day this weekend, plus what’s been going on in his world of Texas country music.  Kyle also answers the question about who his favorite new Texas country artist is.

Gates open at 5pm, and tickets are available at www.rowdyday.com.  It’ll be $7 for 21 and up, $15 for under 21, and 12 and under get in FREE!  These prices are pre-sale so get them now and get out to Rowdy Day.  See you there!

Here’s Kyle’s latest video for his song, “Leavin’ Stephenville”
