The happy couple will be able to call Nashville home at least for the next two years.  Carrie Underwood’s husband, Mike Fisher has singed an extension with the Nashville Predators for the next 2 years.

You might remember how upset his Canadian fans were when it was announced that Mike had been traded to Nashville.  Many hockey fans blamed Carrie for the move. Citing that the newlyweds secretly asked for the trade.

Despite the cold Canadian sendoff, Mike received a warm welcome in Nashville and has fit in with the team like a glove.

Center Mike Fisher signed the two year extension for total of $8.4 million.  Combine that with his current deal with one year remaining, he’ll be with Nashville through the 2014-2015 season.

Maybe the couple can start a family sooner than originally expected!
