Fans are often commenting how they love Trisha Yearwood’s cooking and recipes, but many really want to know what’s going on with the country superstar’s music career as well.

Trisha Yearwood was a guest on CBS’ The Talk yesterday (Wednesday, May 30), and during the interview she gave insight to the questions she is most asked. One popular topic is when we might see a new album. As she excitedly explained, “I am working on a record right now in the studio, so hopefully by the end of the year.”

It’s no wonder she used the term ‘hopefully’ when asked about a record. Trisha’s new cooking show, Trisha’s Southern Kitchen, which launched in April on The Food Network, just wrapped up Season 1. You can still get a taste of her Southern hospitality and family recipes by checking out the episodes you missed and following @TYcom on Twitter.

As wife to one of the biggest country stars of all times, Garth Brooks, naturally, one of the questions she gets asked the most is if they are planning on going out on tour together. Adding a disclaimer that “he [Garth] said it publicly so it’s okay to say this – I think we will, our youngest is a sophomore in high school…so when she graduates in a couple years, we’re thinking about firing it back up and going out together.”

Two years will pass by before we know it, and Trisha hints that would also be a good time to do a duets album with songs they could perform when they go out on tour.
