Dear Diary,

Man, what a weekend. I can’t believe how much we squeezed in. We went to bed fairly early Friday to get ready for the Houston Mud Run. When we pulled up to the Sam Houston Race Park I was amazed at the course. I gotta say, I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to do it. However, I am happy to say that not only did I finish but we all finished strong. It was insane and invigorating. We will definitely do it again next year.

After we got home and washed the mud off, Jeff and I rallied and headed out to the Tattoo Expo at Reliant Center. Man, what a feast for the eyes. I could people-watch for hours. The best part was a couple of guys from ‘NY Ink’ were there. Plus, I was able to cross something off my bucket list. I got a tat at a tattoo expo. Billy from ‘NY Ink’ did it. Awesome. I took a pic with him and also with Tommy.

Sunday, we met up with Michele, our realtor, to get more info on a town-home we might buy. We decided to make an offer. While we waited for a response, we decided to have a little fun with Erin and Jeff’s friend from work, Shane.

It was a little too hot for corn-hole, so we just chilled with some Sangria and did some more people-watching at Celtic and Pub Fiction. Good stuff. Yesterday, we did some more haggling with the town-home, then we celebrated with Michele over margaritas at El Tiempo. I’ll admit it, I am exhausted.
