Country Songs That Blow Zac Brown’s Beard Right Off His Face

By: Corey Foley

100.3 KILT’s Corey Foley got the low down from Zac Brown on his favorite Country song. Well, actually it was a Cowboy Dave.

Cowboy Dave got the opportunity to shoot the ish with the wine-drinking, food-loving bearded man and asked him some hard-hitting questions. But most importantly, he posed this query to the lead singer of the Zac Brown Band.

He asked him what his favorite country song was. Would you like to know the answer? Of course you would.

The song that Zac Brown thinks defines Country music is “He Stopped Loving Her Today.”

“… that’s a powerful, powerful song.” Zac Brown tell us of the George Jones song.

But then Zac goes on to talk about what song really got him into Country music, “I remember the first time I heard the Thunder Rolls (by) Garth Brooks. I mean, Garth really got me into Country. It opened up the world where I really started listening to it and seeking it out and, you know, he’s definitely someone I would like to do something with.”
