Earlier this week, Joe Nichols and wife, Heather, welcomed a new addition to their family! Their daughter Dylan River Nichols arrived on Tuesday, April 17th.

The healthy baby girl, was a little head of schedule than planned weighing in at 7 lbs and 21 1/4 inches long.

And from the looks of it, she’s already got herself nickname courtesy of her famous Daddy!

Joe took to his Twitter page on Wednesday to share an up-close shot of his daughter, Baby D, with his fans and followers.

Joe also shared a photo of the couple just before delivery.

Dylan River is the first child for the couple, both 35, who have been married since 2007 and friends since age 19. Nichols already has a 13-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
