Dolly Parton and Whitney Houston will always be connected. Who doesn’t love both versions of Dolly’s song “I Will Always Love You”. Whitney took Dolly’s song all the way to the top of the pop charts in 1992. It was 18 years after Dolly’s original hit Number 1 on the country charts.
Dolly said she is broken hearted “Mine is only one of the millions of hearts broken over the death of Whitney Houston. I will always be grateful and in awe of the wonderful performance she did on my song, and I can truly say from the bottom of my heart, “Whitney, I will always love you. You will be missed.”
