As the Nascar season draws to a close this weekend Miami Beach is playing host to a celebration of the sport and its stars. Zac Brown Band will be playing a show to celebrate, which is going to be streamed live at 8PM ET at Nascar.com.
Last.fm Trends takes a look at what fans are playing at the moment, and how popular the band are right now.
In the last few weeks Zac Brown Band’s tracks have started to jump around in their charts. The release of You Get What You Give in September has brought a new raft of listeners to their catalog, and they’ve found a slew of favorites among new material and old.
“Highway 20 Ride” has been the biggest beneficiary. Bubbling around a few hundred plays a week back in July, it’s since jumped to your weekly top spot. Last week it saw 2,724 listeners tune in, another huge jump.
Meanwhile the new album has launched a few tracks into their top ten already. “As She’s Walking Away,” featuring Alan Jackson, has crept up to the 6th position, while “Let It Go,” “Keep Me In Mind” and “No Hurry” fight for position between 11th place and 7th week after week, often dislodging older numbers as they go.
It all contributes to their current total of 941,230 plays from 62,394 listeners. Those numbers aren’t very high, but they’re an excellent starting point for a band who have come to success late on, after a solid career as hard-touring country players. Let’s see if tonight’s show brings them a new wave of fans.
