Dolly Parton and [lastfm]Queen Latifah[/lastfm] are set to team up in forthcoming movie Joyful Noise, Parton’s first major movie role for more than a decade. She’ll be bringing a few originals to the soundtrack too, and is likely to add more than a few trophies to her cabinet in the process.

With 364,044 listeners enjoying her solo work, to the tune of 3,671,363 individual track plays Dolly’s a cherished icon among Last.fm listeners.
With a string of hit singles around the globe, her top five was always going to be close fought. “Coat of Many Colors” just makes it inside of the top five, just behind “Here You Come Again“, her first crossover hit.
Parton’s original recording of “I Will Always Love You” has scored 181,015 plays to date, while the number two track, “9 to 5“, boasts 375,658. At the top spot though it’s “Jolene“, the much covered classic, which sees around 3,500 plays every week, contributing to a total of 744,397 so far.
